Man Utd’s Fellaini and Leicester’s Huth charged by FA

Man Utd’s Fellaini and Leicester’s Huth charged by FA
The English Football Association (FA) has charged Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini and Leicester defender Robert Huth with violent conduct after an incident in the 1-1 draw between the two sides at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The incident, which happened in the 21st minute, saw Huth appear to grab Fellaini’s hair before the midfielder then seemed to swing an arm at the German.
The two players, who could face three-match bans, have until 6 p.m. BST on Wednesday to respond to the charges.
After the game, United manager Louis van Gaal defended Fellaini and said that if Fellaini was facing an FA ban then Huth should also be punished.
The Dutchman claimed Fellaini had reacted to provocation “like a human being.”
The incident was not seen by the match officials but was caught on video, with charges brought after a panel of three former elite referees watched the footage.
But Fellaini would not have to sit out the FA Cup final if found guilty — United have three league games left, which means his ban would be served by the time the match is played.
