Pochettino disappointed after Spurs lose title at Stamford Bridge

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has said he is disappointed to be out of the title race, but proud of his players.
Spurs needed to win at Chelsea on Monday, but ended up drawing 2-2 despite being two goals up at the end of the first half.
It meant that Leicester City were crowned Premier League champions for the first time in their history.
“First of all I congratulate Leicester and Claudio Ranieri and his players and supporters,” he said.
“I am disappointed because I thought we fought to be in the race.
“At 2-0 up in the first half, in the second half we have to counter and score the third but this happens. When we conceded the first goal anything can happen. Very disappointed but at the same time very proud of my players.
“It was a derby and we were fighting for the title and Chelsea were fighting. It makes us feel proud how Chelsea show big respect to us and this is the way we want to carry on next season. We respect them, we have full respect for them.
“It’s football, we are men, they are men we need to show we are strong. It was a good lesson for us, we are the youngest squad in the league, we feel very proud and our supporters need to feel proud too, we have massive potential for the future.
“We are disappointed because of the title but we need to be realistic and congratulate our players. Next season we need to be more stronger than this season and try to be in the race.”

Samsung to give Korean Note 7 owners a 50% discount on Note 8

Samsung is offering Note 7 owners in South Korea the chance to upgrade their phone to a Note 8 for half the price when the as-yet-unannounced handset becomes available next year. According to a report from Reuters, the company announced the deal as part of an ongoing exchange program for the Note 7 in its home country, but there’s no word on whether the same offer will be made in the US. In a statement on Monday, Samsung said customers who trade in their Note 7 phone for either a flat-screen or curved-screen version of the Galaxy S7 can trade up for a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 smartphone launching next year through an upgrade programme. The news seemingly confirms that Samsung will be continuing the Note line despite the disaster of the Note 7, which was permanently discontinued earlier this month. According to Reuters, Note 7 owners in Korea will only have to pay half the price of a Galaxy S7 to get their hands on a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 next year. When Samsung was asked if the sa...
