Taylor Swift slams Kim Kardashian after reality star accuses her of lying

Taylor Swift reckons Kim Kardashian is “under pressure” to agree with Kanye West after the reality star accused her of lying – and has pleaded with the famous couple to just “leave her alone”.
Kim criticised the I Knew You Were Trouble singer in a new interview, insisting she “totally knew” about the lyrics in the rapper’s diss track Famous earlier this year – and even promised to laugh about the song at the Grammy Awards.

Responding to Kim’s comments, a spokesperson for Taylor said in a statement: “Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognises the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect.”

Taylor’s spokesperson confirmed she had spoken to Kanye on the phone and he had asked her to release the song on her Twitter account.
However, the 26-year-old star declined and never approved the track as he didn’t play it for her.
The statement continued: “Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since. Taylor has never denied that conversation took place.
“It was on that phone call that Kanye West also asked her to release the song on her Twitter account, which she declined to do. Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term, ‘that bitch’ in referencing her. A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift.”
When she finally heard the song, the Shake it Off singer was left “humiliated”.

And Taylor has now appealed for the couple – who have children North, three, and Saint, six months, together – to leave her alone.
The statement concluded: “Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated. Kim Kardashian’s claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone.”

Samsung to give Korean Note 7 owners a 50% discount on Note 8

Samsung is offering Note 7 owners in South Korea the chance to upgrade their phone to a Note 8 for half the price when the as-yet-unannounced handset becomes available next year. According to a report from Reuters, the company announced the deal as part of an ongoing exchange program for the Note 7 in its home country, but there’s no word on whether the same offer will be made in the US. In a statement on Monday, Samsung said customers who trade in their Note 7 phone for either a flat-screen or curved-screen version of the Galaxy S7 can trade up for a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 smartphone launching next year through an upgrade programme. The news seemingly confirms that Samsung will be continuing the Note line despite the disaster of the Note 7, which was permanently discontinued earlier this month. According to Reuters, Note 7 owners in Korea will only have to pay half the price of a Galaxy S7 to get their hands on a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 next year. When Samsung was asked if the sa...
