Leicester City parade set for Monday, May 16, after season concludes
Leicester have announced they will hold their Premier League title parade on Monday, May 16.

The Foxes will travel on an open-top bus through the city before finishing at Victoria Park, where the squad will take to a stage in front of fans.
Leicester beat odds of 5,000-1 to clinch their first top-flight title in their 132-year history this week and will be presented with the trophy following Saturday’s final home game of the season against Everton.
The parade will be played out across big screens in Victoria Park, with a helicopter following the squad as they make their way through the city.
The park will open at 3 p.m. with a family-friendly activity zone while big screens will start showing the highlights of the Foxes’ title-winning season at 4:30.
Claudio Ranieri’s squad will start their bus tour in Jubilee Square in the city before making its way through Leicester and finishing at Victoria Park an hour later.
The team will be on stage at around 7 p.m. for an hour before the park closes at 9. There will be no activities taking place at the King Power Stadium.
Opera singer Andrea Bocelli will perform at the stadium on Saturday before Leicester’s game against Everton while the club are giving free pizza and beers to fans.
Leicester winger Demarai Gray said he wants to lift the Premier League trophy in style after “creating history” with the Foxes.
He said: “It’s a dream for the whole city. The whole city is buzzing, we have created history. For a team right at the bottom last year to Premier League champions — nothing has happened like that.
“Credit to everyone. Since I’ve been here the fans have been unbelievable, they have been right behind us and we need that. Everyone should be buzzing right now and just enjoy it.
“We have the Champions League to look forward to so the feelings don’t stop. The season hasn’t finished and we’ve won it already. We have done it in the best way and hopefully we can get the win at the weekend and lift the trophy in style.”
Gray joined the Foxes in January from Birmingham for £3.7 million after initially rejecting a move to the King Power Stadium last summer.
But the England under-21 international, who has made 10 substitute appearances in the league for Leicester, feels he was destined to help the club win the title.
“I’ve seen teams win the league on the TV and it’s something I have always wanted to be involved in,” Gray told Foxes Player.
“I didn’t win many competitions growing up but now I have won the Premier League, it feels like it’s meant to be. I can’t wait to get my hands on the trophy.”

Samsung to give Korean Note 7 owners a 50% discount on Note 8

Samsung is offering Note 7 owners in South Korea the chance to upgrade their phone to a Note 8 for half the price when the as-yet-unannounced handset becomes available next year. According to a report from Reuters, the company announced the deal as part of an ongoing exchange program for the Note 7 in its home country, but there’s no word on whether the same offer will be made in the US. In a statement on Monday, Samsung said customers who trade in their Note 7 phone for either a flat-screen or curved-screen version of the Galaxy S7 can trade up for a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 smartphone launching next year through an upgrade programme. The news seemingly confirms that Samsung will be continuing the Note line despite the disaster of the Note 7, which was permanently discontinued earlier this month. According to Reuters, Note 7 owners in Korea will only have to pay half the price of a Galaxy S7 to get their hands on a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 next year. When Samsung was asked if the sa...
